I benefited from frugal Christmas shopping as well. This set was regularly $120, but my husband saved 75% and paid only $30. The savings went toward some beautiful jewelry!

- I developed 'The Art Of Frugality' lifestyle many years ago. As a young military wife, I quickly learned to live within my means. Many mistakes were made along the way, but invaluable lessons were the result. The development of my book began 25 years ago, although I was unaware! I heard "you should write a book" over and over. I taught others how to be frugal but did not have time to write a book, nor did I ever think the timing was right. In other words, there was never inner peace about pursuing such an undertaking. I began to think about such a possibility as my children grew older. Writing the book was one of the easiest things I have ever done. I put into print that which I have found to be an effective and efficient way to stretch a dollar.
