DINNER FOR 12 CENTS?

I needed a FAST meal recently and was able to prepare a delicious hearty soup for pennies:

_leftover roast, shredded
_water
_one quart of home canned soup mix (garden tomatoes,
corn, onions & peppers)
_28 oz. can mixed veggies
_15 oz. can diced tomatoes
_2 boxes frozen peas

Everything was free with gardening and couponing. My only expense was the peas (6 cents per box). Coupons at work.......

ONE OF MANY REASONS TO HAVE COUPONS ACCESSIBLE

In my book, I mention the importance of this practice. I developed my habit from regretful wishes. I was recently out of town and able to take advantage of a store's triple-coupon promotion. Even though my time was short and the store limits coupon usage, I was still able to save over 76%!
