PLAN ACCORDINGLY


For the busiest of days, an inexpensive and hot meal is possible. I froze leftover chicken and broth because I knew it was not a matter of if, but when, I would need a fast and and simple dinner idea. The most expensive ingredients in my homemade chicken noodle soup were onions, celery and carrots. The noodles and canned milk were free, so the 12 quarts cost approximately 50 cents.
