THE BOOK IS PUBLISHED!!!!!!!

My book was ready yesterday at the printer!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am thrilled to be at this point of my project. Even though I have been encouraged for 25 years to write a book, I never felt at peace about doing so. Plus, I was VERY busy rearing a family while practicing 'the art of frugality'.This has been a wonderful learning experience. Each and every challenge paved the way for the next step. I am still in awe, having watched the puzzle pieces fit together at exactly the right time. I could write a book about
writing a book, but first things first...............

I will be happy to ship books for Christmas gifts upon completion of the payment transaction. Should you want your book autographed and/or personalized, please make the appropriate notations.

I really enjoyed the book.
It included so much more than I expected.
In addition to coupon info, the
book contained many other ways to save money.

I recently read Wendi's book & found it to be excellent. It's full of wonderful tips & ideas that the average housewife can use to make a difference in her family's budget.I would recommend it to be a "Must Read" for everyone looking to down size on their grocery bill.

I found your book very informative and to the point. Rather than doom and gloom, it was light hearted which made for interesting reading. For anyone who knows you, the book was like sitting down and having a conversation.

You are one smart lady! You are not teaching to be stingy, just being smart and saving money. Being older than you, there were things that even surprised me. I thank you so much for writing the book.

I really enjoyed the book and thought it was very well written. I also felt it "flowed" which is hard to do when you are not actually writing a story. I was impressed and know you will probably write more books. I wanted to read again just in case I missed anything. When I reread, I enjoyed your book even more the second time around.

The Art of Frugality is FULL of easy, unique, fun, and useful ideas!!! I must admit, I read this book in two sittings. The only reason I didn't complete it at one time is because I had to fix dinner!!!
It is amazing how many ideas Wendi has used throughout her life! I am SO happy that she has published this book to help the rest of us out in our walk to do the very best we can with our finances. In this day and time I recommend this book to everyone who wants to be good stewards of their time and money. (and just think of what we can do with the $$$$ saved!!)
I have given this book to my young nieces and as wedding gifts! Each time those that have received them have called to thank me for giving such a VALUABLE gift!!
Thank you, Wendi!

I was amazed that i had my books today!!! I have already read the majority of it...and can't wait to re-read it to take it all in. You have actually already had a big impact on me just from reading the first chapter. I love the quote you used that says something like "comparison kills contentment". That quote can be used a lot around here.. Plus I was planning on making a pretty big investment for Christmas and going in debt for it...but i layed the law down tonight and said no way. :) So thank you already!

Your book is wonderful and very enlightening. I couldn't put it down, wanting to read right then, to learn where else I could save.
I have practiced being frugal for years, but you taught me about couponing. I am very proud that you wrote a book and did it so well!

What a joy this book has been! We should certainly honor God by being good stewards and using His money wisely. I, like Wendi, am thankful for the heritage and legacy from my grandmothers, mama and mother-in-law in which they instilled in me the love of a bargain and the thrill of the hunt!
Many of my most precious possessions have come from flea markets and auctions, purchased cheap with a creative vision how I could fix up the 'treasure' for that special spot in my home. Instead of early American primitive style, I always called mine 'early flea market'.
This book reinforces the idea that being frugal and all shopping (groceries, furniture, clothes,
etc) is a lifestyle choice in all aspects.
It is a foundational and practical good read!!

'The Art of Frugality' is a basic but fresh look at spending less in a downturned economy. Wendi's ideas are very practical. Some of the ideas are good reminders of things I should be doing (like clipping coupons) and other ideas are brand new.
This is the perfect read for this time.

Wendi,
I read your book and it's very informative especially during these days of financial crisis. Your book came out at the perfect time.
It was easy to read and I'm passing it on or telling friends to buy a copy.

My sister sent me your newspaper article and I really was eager to know more. So, I just purchased 10 of your books for all of my married children (yes I have 10)! If you get this message before my shipment goes out, please sign them if you can! Thanks for your wisdom and frugal lifestyle! Our economy needs more people like you!

Thanks again!

I enjoyed reading your book. It not only is informative, ie: recipes, coupons, emergency pantry, importance of knowing regular prices, but it also reveals a very strong moral philosophy that saving money should not be at the expense of another individual. I also liked the "notes" at the back of the book. I plan to send this book to my daughters!

I wanted to write you and thank you for writing such a practical and well rounded book! My aunt sent me the book. I have read the entire thing, cover to cover, and I couldn't put it down. Thank you for your sweet note in the front of the book and thank you for sharing your hard earned wisdom! I have learned so much!
